The Rams Way will focus on developing and improving positive behaviors through the use of common, developmentally-appropriate language and expectations.

The Behavioral Matrix

The behavioral matrix serves as the place where our common expectations will be clearly spelled out. Students will be learning what it means to be Respectful, Accountable, Motivated, and Safe for their Health & Wellness, their digital citizenship and in various areas of the school building, including the cafeteria, hallways, bathrooms, auditorium, classroom, and the bus. Your child will see the following posters displayed throughout the building.

 

RAMS Way Lessons

Throughout the year, students will engage in lessons during our activity period time. These lessons will teach the expectations laid out in the behavioral matrix. This goes along with the core principle of a school-wide positive behavior support system, which is that behaviors need to be taught just like academics.
