Box Tops

The PSA participates in the General Mills Box Tops for Education Program. This committee's volunteers plan a Fall and Spring box top contest to encourage students to collect and bring in box tops to their classroom's. The class submitting the most box tops wins a prize. The committee counts and bundles all box tops as well as completing the final compilation, summarization, and submission to General Mills following each contest. The PSA receives a check for the total value of the submitted box tops (10 cents/box top) and utilizes the funds for PSA sponsored events.

Directory

As a service to PRMS students and families, the PSA publishes a school directory. At the beginning of the school year, the committee collects information that the parents/guardian's wish to be included in the directory, such as addresses, phone numbers and email addresses. Volunteers compile the data, submit the formatted files to the PR copy department and distributes copies for each student to the classrooms.

Picture Day

PRMS Life Touch picture day is held both in the Fall and Spring. PSA volunteers are needed to escort the students from each class to the pictures stations and back to their classrooms.

Printer Cartridge Recycling Program

The PSA partners with the Charitable Cartridge Recycling Program, a local company which collects empty inkjet and laser toner cartridges for reuse. PRMS earns money for these items. A collection site is located in our school office. This committee organizes monthly pickups by the company.

Restaurant Night

The PSA committee will organize, promote and advertise fundraising nights at local restaurants. PRMS earns a percentage of total food sales.

Spiritwear Sales

The spirit wear committee offers Rams sportswear logo products for PRMS families to purchase to show their school pride or gift to others. The committee chooses a vendor and apparel to advertise for sale. Volunteers advertise the sale dates, collect and total orders, and distribute merchandise when it is delivered.

Teacher Appreciation

The PSA provides a luncheon for the teachers and staff during teacher appreciation week as a thank you for all of their hard work during the school year. This committee selects the menu, reserves space, decorates, enlists families to donate food and assists with the execution of the event.

8th Grade Recognition

This event is to celebrate the accomplishments of our 8th-grade students leaving the middle school.
