PRMS Students Recognized for Academic Achievement

On May 7, we honored seventh- and eighth-grade merit scholars at an evening ceremony.

322 students were recognized, including 140 students who have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout this school year.

We also recognized 58 merit scholars with distinction. Merit scholars with distinction are eighth-grade students who maintained a 4.0 GPA in both seventh and eighth grade.

The event was emceed by eighth-grader Michael Curren, who is student body president. Senior Ryan Moore was guest speaker. Scholar speakers included seventh-grader Mekhi Brown and eighth-grader Natalie Pala. Eighth-graders Hanna Cuprik and Alaina Wincko sang the National Anthem.
