Middle School Ensembles Earn Music in the Parks Awards

On Friday, May 16, Pine-Richland Middle School’s choirs and orchestra competed in the Music in the Parks festival in Sandusky, Ohio, earning an array of awards:

• 7th Grade Choir—First place, Middle School Mixed Choir II with a Superior rating
• PRfect Pitch—First place, Middle School Women's Choir with a Superior rating
• 8th Grade Choir—Second place, Middle School Mixed Choir I with an Excellent rating
• 7th/8th Grade Orchestra—Third place, Middle School String Orchestra with a Superior rating

The orchestra is under the direction of Mr. Dave Belchick, and the choirs are under the direction of Mr. Lee Rickard and Ms. Heather Flora.
