PRMS Establishes Goals for Re-Designation (2025)

The STW process promotes the academic, social, and emotional development of middle school-aged students. A team of evaluators visited Pine-Richland Middle School and evaluated within the following four categories:

  1.  Academic Excellence
  2. Developmental Responsiveness 
  3. Organizational Structures and Processes
  4. Social Equity

We have established three new goals for the next three-year STW cycle in 2025-2028:

  1. Social Equity: Evaluate and make decisions on the structures needed to provide tiers of 1-3 supports for students

  2. Academic Excellence: Reinforce the implementation of the Tier I / general education instructional strategies – considering the interests, achievement / growth, and learning styles of every student in our school – through collaborative lesson planning, design, and delivery

  3. Developmental Responsiveness: Intentionally foster student connections inside and outside of the classroom
