Principals' Message—August 23, 2024

PRMS Students and Parents,

Congratulations on a fantastic start to the school year! It has been a pleasure welcoming you to Middle School and feeling the excitement for the year ahead.

Today, we held our Welcome Back assembly where our Middle School cheerleaders performed, and we had the pleasure of introducing our new school resource officer, Officer Kori. Additionally, our Student Government President and Vice Presidents proudly unveiled our new team names and logos!

These new team names and logos are part of this year’s building goal to intentionally foster team culture and strengthen connections between students and staff. It's incredibly important to us that every student feels connected to PRMS, and we believe having a distinct team name can further enhance each student's sense of identity to their academic teams and greater community within PRMS. To show their team spirit, students are invited to purchase a team t-shirt through the PSA’s Team T-Shirt Sale.

The other part of our building goal is focused on academic excellence where we aim to focus on the time we devote to each day’s learning activities, alignment to the unit-based curriculum, and the feedback we give to our students. We look forward to working on this goal, daily, as it directly impacts our students as they pursue their paths and as our building embarks on its sixth redesignation for Don Eichhorn’s Schools to Watch.
