Principals' Message—September 26, 2025
PRMS Students and Parents,
We are off to a fantastic start this school year! It has been a joy welcoming our students back into the building and feeling the excitement and energy for all that’s ahead.

On Friday, September 19, we hosted our RAMS Way Kickoff Assembly: The RAMS Way Olympics. This event celebrated the work students have done in learning our school-wide behavioral expectations. Teams brought their energy and competitive spirit as they faced off in fun challenges such as Noodle Fencing, Paper Toss, and Broom Hockey. The competition was fierce, the laughter was contagious, and plenty of bragging rights were earned!
Our RAMS Way program, along with our teaming structure, is all about building a positive school culture where every student feels safe, seen, and supported. We are grateful to our Parent-Student Association for generously providing team t-shirts. Thanks to their support, every teacher received a shirt to wear on “Team Tuesday”—a weekly tradition that celebrates our unity and school pride.

In addition to culture, we are equally focused on academic excellence. This year, our teachers will continue refining practices that make the biggest impact on student learning.
We’re focusing on making the most of every minute of class time, ensuring lessons are tightly aligned to our curriculum, and providing meaningful feedback to help students grow.
These goals tie directly to our mission of “focusing on learning for every student, every day” while also continuing PRMS’s attitude of continuous improvement as a six-time Schools to Watch Redesignation recipient.
We’re excited for the year ahead and grateful for your partnership as we continue to build a school where students thrive!
