Eighth graders Amelia Lam, Shruti Visveish, Aubrey Szymanski, Emory Naik, and Jaya Allen came in second place in the NAGC's Creative Convention where they competed against 22 teams from eight different schools.

GATE students at PRMS participated in the Phipps Eco Challenge where they created habitat adaptations, completed a scavenger hunt around Phipps, and heard from leading scientists who are working on projects in Denali National Park, the Redwoods, and Panama, studying various plants and their effects on the environment.

Two Pine-Richland Middle School GATE teams placed in Monday's History Bowl at the Heinz History Center. Taking first place and scoring a whopping 98/100 was the team of Ariel Brotherson, Matthew DeVito, Ryann Mandel, Atharva Nagrath and Lorelei Vernon.

Each year, our secondary school counselors provide our students with a variety of lessons. Kindergarten students need to be opted in to these lessons, while students in grades 1-12 may be opted out by parents.
