Eighth-grader Carter Straub was awarded a scholarship to attend the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Air Academy Camp in Wisconsin this summer. Aimed at flight enthusiasts ages 14-18, the camp offers flight simulations, interactive workshops, aviation demonstrations and classroom instruction.

Pine-Richland Middle School celebrated fall athletics on October 8. Student government and the PSA sponsored a tailgate with games, music and food prior to the middle school green football game against Butler. During halftime, we recognized students participating in football, soccer, volleyball, cross country, field hockey and cheerleading this fall.

Winter Semi-Formal Dance on Friday, February 7, at the middle school from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Students are expected to stay for the duration of the entire dance.

Each year, our secondary school counselors provide our students with a variety of lessons. As we move into quarter 3, we have an overview of each planned lesson.

PRMS will host a shoe drive after the holiday break through the end of the school year. All shoes in any condition will be accepted.

The Pine-Richland School Board approved the 2025-2026 Academic Calendar at their December 16, 2024, combined meeting.

Pine-Richland High School Student Government Association led the district in its annual Stuff-a-Bus toy drive, collecting toys for 96.1 KISS FM's Stuff-a-Bus event and helping the radio station fill a record 82 buses with toys.

For the sixth time since 2006-2007, Pine-Richland Middle School has been redesignated in the Pennsylvania Don Eichhorn Schools: Schools to Watch program.
